Bra Sizing Chart

It is clear from many studies done recently that proper sizing is the most important single factor for ensuring proper support and comfort of any bra, and particularly a sports bra. Yet more studies have shown that over half of women are wearing an incorrect size bra. Proper bra sizing may look a bit intimidating but its not at all. it is simply two careful measurements, subtract and check the chart. The difference in fit and comfort will amaze you if you are someone who has been wearing an incorrect sized bra, and especially if you are planning high energy activity.

Finding Your Proper Bra Size:

Determining your bra size is simple but requires 3 numbers taken carefully:

1. Frame size .............(eg. measured = 34in.)
2. Full bust size ..........(eg. measured = 37in.)
3. Cup size ..(bust minus frame 37-34 = 3in.)
..........(from cup size chart below 3in.= C cup)
4 Bra size is frame size plus cup size, so 34C

Step 1

Measuring Frame Size
While wearing a comfortable unpadded bra use a measuring tape to measure around your body just below your bust. The tape should be firm but not tight.
For example lets say you measure 34 in.
Record this as your frame size.

Step 2

Measuring bust size
Measure around the fullest part of the bust with arms at your side and standing up straight. Ensure your tape is straight.
For example lets say you measure 37 in.
Record this as your bust size.

Step 3

Calculating Cup Size
Subtract your frame size from your bust size. In the example that would be 37-34=3in.
From the Cup Sizing chart below, a 3 in. difference is a C cup.
Your correct bra size is the combination of your frame size (34) and your cup size (C), so 34C
